Green Up South Hero is an annual event that brings the community together to keep South Hero town clean and litter-free. We’re excited to share that our friends at the South Hero Conservation Commission are coordinating the street clean-up this year. SHLT is hosting a clean-up and tree-planting event at the South Hero Rec Park from 9 am to 11 am. This is a great option for families with young children who may not want to be along a road, and as an overflow event for anyone who might not be assigned a road section.

We are also hosting our free Annual Volunteer Appreciation BBQ from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Folsom. Vegan, vegetarian, and GF options will be available, and all are welcome to come together, and enjoy some good food--and even better community.
