Our friends at the Vermont Community Garden Network are organizing a series of collective garden tours across the state, and on Sept 10th they’ll be at Folsom!
Join us September 10th to tour the newly revamped Folsom Learning Garden, ask questions and participate in gardening/culinary preparation with VGN’s new SNAP funded mobile garden classroom.

More about the Folsom Learning Garden - Started in 2009 by a group of parents with support from VGN, the Ben & Jerry’s Foundation, and local donors, the Folsom Learning Garden was created as an outdoor classroom and learning lab where students and community members can come together to develop self sufficiency skills, deepen our appreciation for food and farms, and grow food for ourselves and our neighbors. The garden is maintained by a team of local volunteers, students, parents, teachers, and the staff at South Hero Land Trust. P.s. we’re always looking for more volunteers! Email guy@shlt.org if you are interested, and/or come to the garden tour!
