Morgan Hill Farm is host to a lot of different animals, from the goats they raise to the bobolinks that nest in their fields. Join us on a field trip to North Hero to see and learn about these animals with farmer Sherry and grasslands birds biologist Kevin Tollan from Vermont Center for Ecostudies.
We will learn about why grasslands are so important, how grassland birds like bobolinks and meadowlarks are faring in Vermont, and land management tips for bird-friendly working habitats. We will be walking through and near grasslands, so we suggest wearing sturdy footwear and bringing plenty of water, insect repellent, sun protective gear, tick protective gear, and snacks.
This event is free and open to all! Space is limited. Please RSVP HERE>> to reserve your spot.
