Join South Hero Land Trust and Lake Champlain Land Trust Friday, September 27th for a morning of work to help build the new public trail at the conserved Tracy Woods! This will be the final volunteer work party at as we get the trail ready to open this fall.
Tools will be provided, please wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves if you have them (we’ll have some extra, so don’t worry if you don’t have any). There is a 1/2 mile hike in from the trailhead to where we’ll be working, and there are no bathroom facilities (nearest restrooms at the Jolly in the village center).
Our goal for the day will be to finish installing the split rail fence along the trail. No experience is necessary. All are welcome. Please RSVP to receive instructions for parking and other info.
