Join local naturalist fellow nature-enthusiasts for a casual nature ramble at the South Hero Recreation Park.

Location: The trail begins at the parking lot for Folsom School at 75 South Street, South Hero. This ADA accessible trail loops through the wetlands, meadows, and forests adjacent to the school, a great place to see late season flowers, birds and colors. This short loop is about 1/3 mile in total. Click here for a trail map.

COVID Precautions: We are taking great care to keep all participants, as well as our staff and volunteers safe. We are following all state mandates related to COVID-19. In addition, we require event participants to:

1. Practice social distancing whenever possible.

2. Wear face coverings when indoors regardless of vaccination status. Wear masks outdoors if unvaccinated and social distancing can’t be met.

3. Not attend events and notify us as soon as possible if you feel ill or have been exposed to COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to the event.

PLEASE NOTE: COVID precautions are subject to change at the discretion of the event organizers to ensure participant safety.

Other Considerations: Participants under age 16 should be accompanied by an adult. We ask that you please leave pets at home.
