Join us June 21st at 5:30 PM at Allen Point for a casual after-work ramble to celebrate the longest day of the year on the beautiful Lake Champlain shoreline.
The land trust rambles series are low-key nature walks open to all. Land Trust staff will share some natural history about the area as well as any tidbits based on what animals and plant life we encounter along the way. However, we also encourage participants to share what they know and ask questions so we can all learn together! The tenor of our rambles is more like conversation between friends than a lecture.
This family friendly hike is 2 miles round-trip to the first viewpoint, 3 miles round trip if we make it to the cut. How far we go will depend on our pace and how distracted we get along the way. The trail surface is very flat, on gravel. We will meet at the parking area on Martin Rd and walk from there. For our rambles, we ask that dogs be left at home.
