The Farm as a Classroom: Fostering Farm-to-School Partnerships in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties

April 17, 2018 | 4-6 pm; light dinner to follow (6-7 pm) | Snow Farm Winery, South Hero

Join farmers, teachers and community organizations on April 17 and build your farm to school toolbox! Learn farm-based education activities you can adapt to your farm or classroom, dig into the "Anatomy of a Farm Field Trip" with farmer panelists, and participate in a mapping exercise to identify the many farm-to-school opportunities in the region. The workshop will conclude with an optional supper.

This is a free workshop, organized and sponsored by South Hero Land Trust, the Healthy Roots Collaborative, and the Farm-Based Education Network. Thanks to Snow Farm Winery for hosting!
