Islandacres Trail Snowshoe with SHLT

  • Roy Marsh Trailhead 2 Station Road South Hero, VT, 05486 United States (map)

Join the Robinsons and South Hero Land Trust for a casual winter walk at the conserved Islandacres Farm, and get a sneak-peek at the route for the new, forthcoming public trail!

We’ll meet at the Roy Marsh trailhead at the intersection of Tracy and Station Road. Then, we’ll venture out for a 2-mile loop across groomed snow, swinging through the farmstead (with optional sledding hill detour), before heading back to our cars.

This event will not be wheelchair accessible. The elevation change is very mild, with less than 5% grade for most of the route. There are short sections with up to 12% grade.

We recommend snowshoes or xc skis. SHLT has snowshoes to lend, email guy@shlt.org if you need equipment or have any questions. Worthen Library also has snowshoes to check out for free.

Kids welcome! No need to RSVP. Weather permitting - check shlt.org or the SHLT facebook/instagram pages to see the latest.
