This year for National Trails Day we are kicking off construction of the trail at the newly conserved Tracy Woods, and we can use your help! Join us Saturday, June 1st for a morning of trail work, which will include some work to shape the trail surface, and install simple trail infrastructure to improve drainage and safety on the trail. This will be the first of at least THREE work parties at Tracy Woods this summer as we get the trail ready to open this fall.

Tools will be provided, please wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves if you have them (we’ll have some extra, so don’t worry if you don’t have any). There is a 1/2 mile hike in from the trailhead to where we’ll be working, and there are no bathroom facilities (nearest restrooms at the Jolly in the village center).

No experience is necessary. All are welcome.
